Maplebrook's own Domenico Marchitelli brings us the secret of handmade Burrata all the way from his home in Puglia, Italy. Don't miss the show! Be there as he stretches curd into mozzarella and fills it with fresh cream and stracciatelli — shreds of stretched mozzarella curd. Delicious!

Visit the historic Farm Barn at the heart of Shelburne Farms. Observe our cheesemakers at work crafting handmade cheddar in the production room, stroll around the courtyard, and befriend the animals in the Children’s Farmyard. Cheesemaking puts the “Farm” in Shelburne Farms — learn how cheese supports our education programs for sustainability, or simply relax in this beautiful place. We are making cheese 9:00 am–3:30 pm on Festival day. To get to the Farm Barn, take a twenty minute walk through the woods, catch a wagon ride, or make the short drive from the Coach Barn.
